Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TickerLens (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

TickerLens is a financial data platform that provides stock market data, analysis tools, and congressional trading information for informational purposes only. The Service is available in free and paid subscription tiers with varying levels of data access.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tickerlens.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.
  • Usage quotas reset monthly. Unused quota does not carry over.

6. Not Financial Advice

All data, charts, and information provided by TickerLens are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions. TickerLens makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
  • Share account credentials or circumvent subscription limits
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any data obtained from the Service without express written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TickerLens and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Third-party financial data is subject to the terms of the respective data providers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TICKERLENS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TickerLens and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
